Hi Everyone!
I was hoping to have the finalists posted this morning, but due to the large number of entries, the inclement weather which has taken my internet out repeatedly, and an unfortunate spell of under-the-weatherness for Judge #2, we need more time!
My sincere apologies for keeping you waiting! We will get the finalists up as soon as we can!
Meanwhile, there are a LOT of fantastic stories to read, so please continue to enjoy them and share them with all your friends and relations! Here’s the link for your convenience:
Thank you for your patience! Have some chocolate to tide you over 🙂 (It IS Wednesday, after all! 🙂 )

Chocolate-covered Peanut Butter Hearts from Baker By Nature
Thank you for the chocolate hearts, Susanna. Just what was needed to buffer the waiting. How many entries did you ultimately receive?

Chocolate and chicken soup for you, Susanna! Hope you keep your power, stay warm and feel better. The stories are great fun to read. TY for giving us this opportunity.
So, so sorry to learn of your internet & illness issues, Susanna! No worries about us. Plenty to keep us busy, including your reminder to read some more of these amazing entries!
Patiently dying of anticipation! What a turn out – I read a few more in the comments yesterday but didn’t have time to reply. Lovely stories!
*snort* Don’t worry, Sus. I hope the sick one feels better. Maybe chocolate cough syrup?? I’m reading. I feel for you. There are some mighty wonderful stories. Sorry about the internet issues. EGAD. We can’t live without our internet.
Hope Judge #2 feels better. Hope your internet feels better too. I’m happy to read some more of these great stories in the meantime!
I’m so glad YOu are leaving the stories up as I am WAY behind in reading them. I sent them to a friend who’s been enjoying them well. Perhaps you can leave the winners up once you announce, in case some of us didn’t get to read those.
get better! and may your internet behave!
Sending all those under the weather sunshine and well wishes, including your computer, but best to keep the Rays away from it. Thanks for all your organizing Susanna, and thanks to the judges! I too hope the stories are up longer, I’ve been swamped and have only read a handful.
No worries, Susanna…it will give all of us a chance to read a couple more of these great stories! Hope everyone feels better. 🙂
There can be nothing wrong in the world if I have a pile of chocolate peanut butter hearts in my hand. 😉 Feel better Judge #2! Thanks for all your hard work!
Thank you for putting together such a great contest Susanna! Hope you get your internet restored and Judge #2 is feeling better! I’m enjoying all the stories!
I’ve been having WAY too much chocolate to tide me over. Is it bad that I’m raiding my boys’ Valentine’s candy from their class parties? LOL 🙂 Can’t wait to see the finalists! Thanks again for a fun contest! Hope you and the judges have survived the process 🙂
No problem at all — thanks you and Judge #2 for all you do!
What a turn-out! I read and enjoyed each and every story. Thank you Susanna!
Those chocolaty things sound so inticing I may just have to get this body out of this chair and eat some for real!! Hungryhere.
Poor you!! Will chocolate fix it?? And internet as well. Don’t worry about us as we love all those stories and will be having a ball reading them as I haven’t had time to read them all.
Thanks for visiting my blog, Susanna! IN reality I love all your contests! 🙂
Thanks for all you do!
🙂
Thank you for all the time and effort you have dedicated to this contest! It is very much appreciated. 🙂 Good luck with the judging, I can imagine how difficult it must be! There were so many wonderful entries. It’s been great fun reading them all, really put me in the Valentine’s Day spirit. No grumps here! 😉
You know you have a captive audience. 😀 We’ll wait. Some of us more patiently than others, just like kids. 😀
Aww, thanks for all of your efforts. Good health to all of you!
