Do you have a story that could use a fresh pair of eyes? Perhaps a new manuscript that you’re not sure is worth your time to pursue?  Perhaps a manuscript that you feel is almost working… but not quite… and you can’t put your finger on why? Or are you new to picture book writing and in need of some guidance?

I provide picture book manuscript critiques for writers at all stages.

The cost per critique is $50.

I will read your manuscript and make comments on it directly using the “track changes” feature in Microsoft Word.  You will get basic but specific impressions of what’s working and what needs work. I will provide a written critique that addresses any major areas that need attention, along with examples for clarification or possible suggestions for fixes where appropriate.

I love doing critiques, but my time is limited.  I take them on a first come, first serve basis.  If you’re interested, please email me for availability.

When you send your manuscript it should be attached to the email as a Microsoft Word document and include [YOUR STORY TITLE] For Critique in the email subject line.

When I have completed the critique, I will send you an invoice via PayPal which gives multiple options for payment.
