Why I Like This Book: This is a sweet bedtime tale about the loving relationship between a girl and her dad. She wants him to make up a story, because he always tells the best stories, but as he begins it becomes quickly apparent who the real storyteller is. Daddy says there was a beautiful queen. . . Sophie wants it to be a princess. Daddy changes to a princess and says her name is Priscilla. . . Sophie wants it to be Sophia, called Sophie. By the end of the book Sophie is happy, and sleepy. Once again, she tells Daddy that he always tells the best stories, but now it is clear that the best stories are made by the two of them telling it together. The art is bright, appealing and engaging, and the story is fun, but also sweet and comforting. The love that Sophie and her dad have for each other shines through. A great choice for any bookshelf 😊

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do 😊
