Freaky Friday :)

Darlings!

I am trying desperately to finish the Halloweensie judging!

SUCH a challenge!  You all did an unbelievable job and having to cut anyone from the list is practically impossible.  Vast quantities of chocolate are required for this Herculean task!

I mean seriously!  There were 244 fantastic entries and somehow the other judges and I have to cull them down to a dozen…preferably without doing each other bodily injury! 🙂  I can assure you there is a great deal of hair-tearing, tooth-gnashing, and rending of garments going on around here!

So I’m not posting a Perfect Picture Book today because I’m buried under Halloweensie stories.

But I will put the link list here for those of you who want to Perfect Picture Book Party 🙂

For the complete list of books with resources, please visit Perfect Picture Books.

PPBF folks, please add your titles and post-specific links (and any other info you feel like filling out 🙂 ) to the form below so we can all come see what fabulous picture books you’ve chosen to share this week!

I’m hopinghopinghoping to have the finalist list up by later today… or tomorrow… 🙂  Wish us luck!!!

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!!! 🙂

No worries Susanna! Patience is a must in this business and waiting is good practice for us. You all rock for the energy and time you put into judging. ❤

I’m surprised that you and yours have any hair left! I know that I enjoyed reading the entries. Good luck with the judging! And I wish you much chocolate as a reward for making it through the process. Cheers!

Every year you have the Halloweensie contest. Every year I am amazed and in awe at the talent on display when visiting the various entries. Every year, I truly do not know how you cull the entries down to just a few.

I love that you do this. It gives a chance for hobbyists, part-time writers, and lovers of the written word to share their storytelling with the world. Even those who do not make it to the final round are awesome and may catch the eye of someone perusing through the blogosphere.

Thank you for doing this, Susanna 🙂
