In addition to having been a speech pathologist in elementary schools, she has worked in a bookstore and a children’s library. I’ve been struggling with health issues for the past few year, but I think things are moving in the right direction now – fingers, toes and whatever the heck else I can cross at my age – I’m crossing.     ARRR! What a fun sounding book.

    I was looking at the cover and though hmm, that style looks familiar, and I realized Gal Wizeman also illustrated Heather Preusser’s Hedgehog series!

    Arrrgh! I like Barnacle Book-Builder as the writer’s pirate moniker. It looks like a cute book, and one that I would probably fin entertaining. 🙂
