Why I Like This Book: This lovely book about the seasons in nature, written in gentle rhyme, celebrates the hand of God in all things. Children are encouraged to notice springtime buds, blossoming tulips, and the patter of raindrops; the bright blue skies, wild flowers and waving grasses, and the sparkling ocean of summer; the red and gold leaves of fall and the geese flying south; the snowflakes and the frosted, frozen lakes of winter, among other things. In each season, children are shown doing all kinds of activities outdoors: playing, reading, bicycling, boating, exploring, fishing, ice skating, making snow angels, and more. The lush art is full of details for young readers to absorb, giving them the opportunity to see themselves as part of the beautiful world God created, and encouraging them to get outdoors and enjoy themselves in whatever way suits them best, whether that’s active, productive, relaxed, or dreamy.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do 😊

The rhyme and illustrations are beautiful. I love the way the young girl on the cover is so inviting with her glance to the audience. “Song Of The Seasons” is the perfect book to encourage a young reader’s introduction to a power greater than oneself that is capable of creating such beauty and perfection. Thank you for sharing this book. ♥️

Such a lyrical and beautiful book. I love the lines about nature singing God’s song. I think that every morning. I don’t see the link to list posts. This message may not post.
