Come meet this mighty crew as they race, rescue, fix, clean, and serve their way through town. From fire trucks that spray to garbage trucks that munch and steamy food trucks that sizzle, each truck has an important job to do.

Why I Like This Book: If you’ve got a truck-loving youngster, they will go nuts for this book 😊. Written in catchy rhyme that’s fun to read aloud, the whole entire point of this book is trucks, Trucks, TRUCKS! A companion to Kelly’s first book – WHAT TRUCKS LOVE TO DO: WRECK AND BUILD CONSTRUCTION CREW (featured on Tuesday Debut in March) which dug into construction vehicles – this book is chock full of helper trucks from fire engines, ambulances and police cars to delivery trucks, garbage trucks, and food trucks. Art by the talented Gal Weizman is bold and bright. The trucks’ facial expressions are wonderful. And there are lots of fun details for kids to look for and discover. Want to keep your little truck lover happy? Read Kelly’s two books along with Carrie Finison’s TOUCH A TRUCK DAY. I know from personal experience you can do this for hours 😊
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do 😊 And if you read this book and enjoy it, Kelly could really use reviews on Amazon, B&N, Goodreads, etc to help boost her visibility and would be most grateful!

The “littles” will love this book! Looks like such a fun read!🚒🛻🚚🚛
I mean, TRUCKS! how can the littles not love this book? 🙂
Thank you so much! I hope they love it. Please write back what their favorite page is. Its always a fascinating surprise to me! I’ve found lots of kids really like the storm clean up page.
I love the rhyme, and what a great book for truck-lovers!
Agreed on both counts, Jodie! Also great because it gives such a nice glimpse of community – it’s a very fun book with lots to look at!
Thank you Jodie! Even when I try to write books without rhyme I end up in meter. haha!
Looks like a fun one for little ones!
I think it is, Patricia! I’ve got a little one who is going to love it as soon as he learns to be a little less enthusiastic with paper 🙂
Big trucks = big win in my house!
These would not sit on the library shelf for long! What fun.
Thank you! Please considering requesting that your local library carries a copy. I would be so grateful to be in the hands of more littles in your neighborhood!
My son would have immediately wanted a car ski lift for his Lego City build, LOL, or he would have built one himself after reading this book. It’s so sweet!
TOTALLY!
My son, too, Jilanne! Trucks, trains, legos, blocks – our house looked like a community construction site! 🙂
Lego worlds is definitely my life! If they were copyrighted I would be adding them to a story!
A book about trucks…I know several littles who will love this!! Great illustartions that will capture their attention! Thanks for a great review, Susanna.
My pleasure, Vivian! I know so many little truck lovers – it’s a winning topic!
Thanks Vivian! I appreciate the kind note!
Oh my gosh, I adore this book. That ski slope spread is delightful – cars on skis riding a lift and a Car Snowman. I can’t wait to see what else Kelly & Gail have created. Thanks for the introduction Susanna.
You’re welcome, Maria! Don’t miss the first What Trucks Love To Do – that one is all construction!
Thank you Maria!!!!
