Can you believe it’s practically June???!!!

And guess what happens in June?

Well, yes. The kids do get out for summer vacation.

And yes, there’s Juneteenth and Father’s Day and the first day of summer, and everyone’s favorite, VCR Day (June 7th for the uninitiated) – very retro.

But I’m talking about I’m talking about the real excitement! Haute couture!

What.

You think just because my idea of fashion is blue jeans and a tee shirt that I know nothing about haute couture?

Sheesh!!!!!!! So judgy!

Okay.

It is remotely possible that you’re right. I know nothing. But I know enough to google fashion week and discover that the Menswear Fashion Week in Paris is June 23-28!

And how fortuitous is THAT when today’s Perfect Picture Book is about men’s fashion in Paris? (Technically moose fashion, but he is a boy moose 😊)

Why I Like This Book: To be fair, I am already a Finley fan! Have you read FINLEY: A MOOSE ON THE CABOOSE (Reviewed HERE on PPBF in 2023)? I don’t think it’s possible not to love Finley 😊 This time, everyone’s favorite moose is back to join Fashion Week in Paris. All he wants it to fulfill his dream of attending in a stylish suit. But, can you believe it? NO one wants to make a suit for a moose! Another moose might give up, but not Finley. And he is also not a moose to forget who he is – the friendliest of all moose! So when a designer takes a spill, Finley rescues her and her fabrics, and (without TOTALLY giving away the ending) she helps him achieve his dream. Finley is so likable and sweet, and he is a model of kindness. The art is delightful and a perfect fit for the story. A fun book that will will leave readers with the warm fuzzies and reminder that perseverance, kindness, and friendliness always win the day!
